On October 28, 2019, PIT was awarded by the Civil Service Commission Region (CSC) VIII as PRIME HRM Level 2 Maturity Level in Learning and Development, Recruitment, Placement and Selection.

The Institute was also found to be continuously compliant with the CSC law and rules in terms of implementation of the other HR programs and the maintenance of the HR records.

PIT holds the record as the overall Champion from 2016-2019 for the said activity. And the conduct of SCUAA, the Institution has been awarded 4th place in the overall medal tally for 2019 and 6th place in 2018

During the first term of office of College President these programs have been realized namely: Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED), Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED), Bachelor of Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTED), and SY 20-2021 the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration will be one of the curricular offerings of PIT.

The Institute maintains the offering of the Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation (BSMT) and Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering (BSMAR-E) and sustained the performance of the BSMT, BSMAR-E, BSME, and BSEE in the boar examination. The successful accreditation of all the curricular programs both in the Main and Tabango Campuses is one of the highlights of the achievements of the present administration.
